Internship Program:

The best way to further your equine education is to be involved hands on in an internship program. At American Dream Farm we pride ourselves in the exceptional care we give our horses with safety first always in mind. There are so many questions regarding the health and care of horses and, of course horsemanship. In addition to teaching people of all ages how to ride English and Western we teach all of the "behind the scenes" training, horsemanship skills, and health and care topics that are so important to being around horses and horse ownership. If you are dedicated to learning more about horses and continuing your equine education we may have a place for you in our Internship Program.

Lesson Program Assistant - Internship at American Dream Farm -
Looking for motivated Intern with an upbeat positive professional attitude to assist with all barn duties and beginner riding lessons. Must have some experience working with horses and have excellent communication skills. If you are fairly new with being around horses we will train and educate you. You will further your equestrian education in many areas. Our Lesson Program specializes in western riding, western horsemanship, english pleasure, english equitation, showmanship at halter, open horse shows and training. We also offer Youth Equestrian Camps and Advanced Camps to Adults. We teach riders ages 9 and up on our award winning lesson and show horses. Lessons are held either in the arena or in our obstacle/trail pasture as we offer a very wide range of lessons.

We are willing to train the right person and advance you to upper levels of riding and teaching both english and western. Must be able to work 3 afternoons and evenings a week from 4:15 - 8:00. We are looking for interns age 18 and up with a positive outgoing attitude. This is a busy Lesson Program with lessons beginning at 4:30 Mondays-Thursdays. We teach year round, so we are looking for a permanent Intern to add to our family and work through the year. Although this is an unpaid Internship, proven Interns have the opportunity to earn riding lessons.
